Pastor Desmond Ademola Thomas was born in Lagos Island on July 23^rd, 1961, to Chief R Adebayo & Mrs. C.O Thomas, both of blessed memory. In his early years, Ademola was raised by both his maternal grandmothers, Mrs. Bennedicta O. Roberts (nee Fagbile) aka mama Obalende and Madam Ayodele King (aka Mamayen) both of blessed memory. Both grandparents raised him in line with Christian tenets and in the fear of God. Ademola Thomas developed a relationship with the Lord during his stay with his grandmothers who taught him the importance of prayers and paying tithes as God commanded.

Pastor Ademola Thomas started his early education at Ereko Methodist School, 35 Berkley Street, Lagos; LCC Primary School, Fadeyi Lagos, and continued at Victory High School, Ikeja and Lagos State Institute of Social Development where he started his studies in Social Work.

Pastor Ademola Thomas worked with the Lagos State Ministry of Social Development for almost 10 years, during which he completed his studies at Ogun State University, Ago Iwoye before travelling out of Nigeria to London in 1989. Ademola had a brief stint at Vauxhall College, London to study Psychology and worked with Tower Hamlets & Lambeth Borough Council for about 8 years before relocating to the United States.

Pastor Ademola Thomas continued his Christian journey while in London as a founding member of Salvation Sanctuary (a Pentecostal Church) under the leadership of Reverend Comfort Ogunleye who supported his spiritual growth through believer’s class and the school of discipleship.

Pastor Thomas was ordained as a Deacon in 1999 before relocating to the US, where he later joined the Redeemed Christian Church of God, International Chapel Queens, under the leadership of Pastor Olu Obed in 2000.

Pastor T, as he is fondly called by some of his colleagues and friends in the ministry, humbly submitted himself to the leadership and doctrine of his newfound church (RCCG) by enrolling again for workers in training under the tutorship of Deacon (now Pastor) Olayinka Alamu. He was later commissioned as an un-ordained minister before being ordained as a Deacon at the RCCG International Chapel Queens, NY where he served God faithfully under the leadership of Pastor Olayinka Akinlabi Alamu whom God used to recommend Ademola Thomas as the Parish Pastor of RCCG Zion Sanctuary, a Church where the relationship is nurtured to the glory of God and “a place where men and women fulfil their God ordained purpose”.

Pastor Ademola Thomas is a man of prayer, teaches God’s message with simplicity to the hearers, have a deep passion for family unity and growth and is happily married to his beloved heartthrob Pastor Stella Abimbola Thomas. Their union is blessed with two wonderful boys, Emmanuel Oluwatobiloba & Godson Oluwatimilehin.

By God’s grace, Pastor Ademola is the current Zonal Coordinator of NY-4. He is the writer and author of the book, “Step Into Your Purpose”
