As the House Fellowship arm of Zion Sanctuary, we understand the importance of winning souls for Christ and knowing that a solid fellowship among believers is the key to a believer’s sustainability, we are humbled by God for this great task, as Hebrews 10:25 says “Do not forsake the assembling of ourselves together” (In order to provoke love and good works). Since the church is the body of Christ, House fellowship is designed as an outlet to support one another prayerfully, foster evangelism, and extend communal gathering, and services to God through in-home/family congregations, and intimate studies. House fellowship represents the arm of the church, the mission is to inspire and motivate spiritual growth among members. House fellowship is a place of togetherness, where love is shared, and support is rendered physically, emotionally, spiritually, and even financially. I am thankful to God for the numerous blessings that we have been receiving through the House Fellowship centres, and the testimonies of all members have been great evidence of what God is doing and will continue to do for us in Jesus’ mighty name.

Minister Patience Nwando My name is Patience Nwando, I am a minister in the Redeemed Christian Church of God Zion Sanctuary NY. I am a Sunday School teacher, and also a member of the choir. In my early age of 7 years old, I was part of the children Choir, and Sunday school children department. Born and raised by well rooted and grounded methodist parents, my parents taught me how to pray, and read my bible daily, and ensured that I never missed a Sunday service or not participate in the children's class activities. I grew up knowing the word of God, and walking according to the doctrine of Christianity. As proverb 22:6 says: "Train up a child in the way he should go: and when he is old, he will not depart from it" With my father being one of the lay preachers, and my mother, a church warder, and the leader of the women prayer meeting, both in Methodist Church, these put me in the right direction, and paved the way for me to be more zealous in the things of God. My passion for the work of God, and the desire to have a closer relationship with God inspired me to join a Pentecostal church in my teen age. While in the Redeemed church, without hesitation, I went through the workers in training with the Redeemed Christian Church of God Maranatha Parish in FCT Abuja Nigeria, under the pastorate of Pastor Akin John. As a young adult eager to join the workforce in the vineyard of God, in the year 2000, immediately after my training. I was certified, and cleared to join the work of God in my parish, where I continued to sing in the choir, and had also been part of the zonal, and regional Choir, shortly before my relocationto the United States. Coming to The US, I dedicated my first two weeks searching for a Redeemed church around my location, to the glory of God, the holy spirit ordered my feet into Zion Sanctuary here in Queens, Since becoming a member of RCCG ZS, I have maintained my unalloyed membership, and also continued my passion as a Choir Member and a Sunday school teacher. While in Zion Sanctuary, I have since gone through the School of disciples, and graduated under the leadership and pastorate of Pastor Ademola, and Pastor Stella Thomas. With the holy spirit bearing witness,in 2020, I was appointed to be the coordinator of the House Fellowship centers of Zion Sanctuary by my pastor Ademola Thomas. As a lover of God, and having the desire to do the things of God, I understand the importance of winning souls for Christ, and knowing that a solid fellowship among believers is the key to a believer’s sustainability, I humbled myself to be used by God for this great task, as Hebrews 10:25 says "Do not forsake the assembling of ourselves together" (In order to provoke love and good works). I am a wife, a mother of two gorgeous daughters, and a handsome son. I also have a career as a Registered Nurse. My utmost joy is giving the optimal care and comfort to my patients, providing for my family, and fulfilling my Godly expectations as a believer.
